This bonus hydrangea is offered in honor of Ms. Katharine Hepburn that passed away summer 2003. This frilly floret hydrangea yields tons of deep purple to pink flowers. In highly acidic soil, we've heard this will turn deep blue. Miss Hepburn reminds us of Tovelit and Parzifal with the frilly florets but is more striking with vivid color. The blooms dry right on stems and cut flower growers are crazy for this variety. Bred in the United Kingdom by HJ Jones in 1927.
