This hydrangea comes from a farmhouse in Indiana. Legend has it, Sadie Ray has bloomed every year for over 50 years in the zone 5 area. Often, it would die back to the ground but still bloom during the summer for all to enjoy. Pale blue in acidic soil and pale pink in neutral, Sadie Ray has a strong habit and large flat green leaves. The blooms age green during late summer. This one can rebloom in more mild climates.
