This vigorous growing hydrangea is one of the Teller series developed in Switzerland around 1979.. It catches your eye from across the garden with its stout stems and dark green coarse leaves that support an abundance of beautiful, large lacecap blooms. The sterile flowers crowd around the fertile ones in a dense overlapping ring of vivid color. We grow this one as a red but have also seen it grown as a purple and even blue in highly acidic environments. Fasan does well in all but hot afternoon direct sun. This is a wonderful eye-catching plant.
