Commonly called Teller Red Lacecap in the United States, the rose colored blooms are only equaled in size and radiance by very close Teller relatives. This is a stout growing plant like its sibling, Blaumeise. Soil sensitive, this plant needs neutral soil to produce its rare rose color. Her ring of large sterile flowers is always changing as she ages. We have people visit us just to photograph this variety in our garden. Feature this unusual hydrangea alone, or in a group. Breathtaking! Bred in Switzerland at the Federal Research Institute for Horticulture in 1979.
