We have recently been obsessed with climbing hydrangea relatives here. This one is a wonderful evergreen climber that is truly self-clinging. New growth is burgundy red but it turns to dark green shortly. Pod like flowers remind us of Seamanii blooms once open. Flowers are lacy and quite wide, fertile florets are creamy white aging to a parchment tone. Not as hardy as regular climbing hydrangeas so guessing a 7b zone. Climbs and climbs!
