Mariesii Perfecta is not very commonly grown but its name is often misused for most other lacecaps. This is an outstanding plant with pale pink or pale blue flowers which last on the plant for an extremely long time. Petals compete with one another to form a crowded lacecap type head. The plant is vigorous in partial shade and is extremely hardy and blooms faithfully. Shiny green leaves add to its beauty. Breathtaking! Said to have been selected by Victor Lemoine of France in 1904.
