This Serrata's blooms looks dainty but are really stout and strong. Our stock bloomed the first year in the nursery with double to triple blooms on this lovely lacecap hydrangea. Flowers are pink to very pale lavender and will bloom early in the Summer. The leaves are of Serrata heritage and age that fabulous fall red. This variety prefers some afternoon shade and is ideal for container gardening. This plant was mis-named 'Pretty Maiden' when first introduced to the United States. Also known as Komachi and Kikuzakihai.
