Fantastic variegation on the leaves of this beautiful climbing hydrangea are a true knockout. I find it a bit slow to grow and bloom, like the other petiolaris clan, and needs a few years in the ground to take off. I finally had a bloom on mine in the garden and the heat of the summer burned it to a crisp. Like other variegated hydrangeas, this one needs a bit more shade to keep the leaves and blooms from scorch.
